Default Rally I wheel reproduction center caps...

I want to get some Rally I's for my rattle trap, and I've found Wheel Vintiques reproductions for great prices. I'm just confused about their center caps. Summit says they are made of aluminum...? And Wheel Vintiques doesn't say if they are polished stainless or not. Ames and PY list them as polished stainless.

I just wonder if these center caps are all from the same source, or if there are different reproductions out there. I don't want to get "aluminum" ones!

I have a set of 65 repops, think they're from PY, and they're stainless but a lighter guage than originals. Set I have is for sale, can save you some bucks. PM if interested. Remember repop center caps have to go on repop wheels, originals will not stay on, no 3 nubs on the repop wheels.

Just to clarify a little. Wheel Vintiques center caps will fit on factory wheels. That's what I just put on my 64. Ames sells the Wheel Vintiques caps. PY sells a different cap, I believe their own make. I have both on the shelf at home. They're stainless, and as mentioned, lighter than original. The paint quality was marginal on the Wheel Vintiques, I actually stripped and repainted one. They're OK. Better than most used, but not as good as NOS.

Thanks for the info, guys! I hear that the Wheel Vintiques wheels now have the 3 nubs so that stock centers or repro will fit. Is this true??
