After going from this color to Cadinal Red to Orbit Orange...Im going back to how this 72 came factory so anyone know the name of this color? Id look at the cowl tag but the car is 3 hours away right now lol

Heres a picture I took when I first got the 72 over 10 years ago...

Anaconda Gold code "63" "S"

Quezal Gold code "53" "E"

I would lean toward Anaconda Gold but it looks like it could be a darker brown than that. It could be Brasilia Gold - Code "57" or "J". Based on my computer monitor, you can rule out Quezal Gold and Shadow Gold.

Im wondering if maybe it was repainted at some point but I cant imagine since my grandmother (now deceased) was the original owner and I doubt she would have had it repainted especially since when I got the car it had 29K on it.

I'm going to say brasilia gold. Looks to me like a brown tone, and a beige or tan top.

Nope I know thats not it as my '72 wagon is that color. Better try again! I would say the color is Brazillia Gold.

Read the OP. The car is "three hours away" from the op.
