Default Muncie 4 speed , speedo gear

Have a pass. side driven speedometer on a 4 speed muncie & need to get correct gear for proper calibration of speedo. . 354 gear ratio , 28" tall tire , been looking on the web coming up with 20 tooth small . Does that sound correct ? Also does it matter it is a early muncie with the drive on the left side vs. later years that have the speedo. drive on the right side of trans would they all use the same gear ? thanks

Call S-K Speed out of NY, they will have the nylon gear you need. (631) 957-9427. Brian Higgins is whom I have dealt with in the past with excellent service. Brian very well may have retired by now but he will have someone very capable to take care of you.

Riverside Auto in Michigan should also be able to help you out with anything Muncie. They can be reached by calling (517) 663-4410, I dealt with Bob there, again excellent service.
