Just wondering if anyone has been using these cranks and how do you think they have held up so far? I'm in the market to have a crank done just want to know if I should even consider an eagle or use my 455 core?
THANKS TOM SYRON

If you have a good core, why take a chance on something made in China to replace something made in America?

GAch can be heard whining about them over on his tumbleweed board. However, in typical Gach form, there is no proof of his claims.

Eagle cranks and connecting rods have been in production for years and years but available for other brands such as chevy and ford. No problems anywhere. Enjoy your ride.

And now for the $64,000 queston, does either one of you run an Eagle crank in your car?

Y'all think Gach has ever seen an Eagle's crank?
Pun intended.

Eagle cranks are of a VERY high quality and are made by Eagle. I wouldn't hesitate to use one.

KenK, still waiting for those pics, big man.

I'm still waiting for the pics as well. I asked him to post them, then he booted me off his site! He then post only half my email trying to twist the reason why he booted me.
Sorry don't mean to change the subject, but I don't think he ever seen a crank either.

Does Eagle offer a stock Pontiac rod journal 3.25" main crank? All I'm aware of is the BBC rod units.

And everyone in the Pontiac world except for two other guys says you're full of it.

Tell you what, when you and your two "turbo lover" buddies get up the funds to make your own cranks, you let us know. Then you'll see what it feels like. I promise you.

Eagle cranks are available in 3" main with a 4.250 stroke and BB Chevy rod journals. Also in a 3 1/4" main and 4.21 stroke (stock 455) with a Pontiac rod journal. Both sell for $399.00

Dick:

When are the previously-requested metallurgical specs going to be forthcoming?

Material composition would be a good start.

Grey Iron?
PMI?
Armasteel?
Recycled brake rotors (most likely)?
What?

Torment, you're missing absolutely nothing. Believe me. Most of the freak show appears daily on PP1 from what I hear though.

Misus, call Eagle and ask them yourself. You're a big boy now.
