Sorry for the stupid question, but have heard of them on older log manifolds and had no clue as to what they did. Except maybe cause the exhaust gases to return to the crossover in the heads and intake and help warm up the intake on cold days. I may be off on that. Never really even seen a heat riser. Bear with me on this one.
