One night my dog is laying on the couch next to me and I smell the nastiest fart...I look down and had to snap this pic.....He was actually covering his own nose and he was the source of the stink!

My Sister in laws dog, "Teddy" who sits on her lap in the passenger seat when they drive, gets bad stinky farts when he eats hot dogs.

Found out this info went She was scolding her Son at a family picnic. All the kids love that dog so most picnics he gets well fed. I never have to do anything except tease her that the ride home is going to be pleasant.

Our 12lbs male Shih Tzu can gag a buzzard when he has "barking spiders"

Cat farts can be pretty bad too. The old female cat we lost a couple of years ago could pop off some that would gag a maggot.

When I was younger, we had a dog that would curl up behind my mom's recliner to sleep. Mom would fall asleep in the recliner too. One night, I'm laying on the couch watching TV. Mom's in her chair snoozing away when she suddenly is jarred awake. I figure she had a dream or something, but it was the very pungent aroma of the dog's gas that did it. She tried blaming me, but when she leaned over and looked behind the chair, she could tell by the look on that poor dog's face who the culprit was. It was so bad, even the dog knew it!

YUP, our dog is only 8Lbs and she sure carries a bad smell inside of her somedays. Clears the room. LOL. Too much Rabbit crap in our back yard that she eats. Nothin else back there to eat that i know of that would cause this. Any other things to watch for??

Our little chi-weenie Gretel can be pretty potent when she "let's 'em fly" LOL.

First time I found about that she was sleeping w/her rear tucked right under my armpit.

Our Lab mix "pound puppy" has a unique way of squeaking them out and always startling himself by his actions.
Then immediately vacates the room but not before giving me a look of total disgust. Sort of like an old man with the What did YOU do look
And to complete the process he manages to exit unnoticed just as the wife enters and then she swears its me, WTH!

Ah.. this thread brings back memories.

We had a black lab that loved to sit on the hot/cold air duct in the living room which was located right behind my mother's recliner. That dog would let one go silently and my mom would fly off the handle at me and my brother for stinking up the entire room. We tried to plead our case but always got sent to our rooms in disgrace.

One day the whole family was sitting in the living room and the dog was dead center of the floor sleeping. The dog dropped ass like a warrior, popped her head up, sniffed her own butt, and promptly left the room. The stunned look on mom's face was priceless as dad was rolling off the couch laughing so hard.
