Hi guys,

How do you get the metal pull strap bezels off? I don’t want to break them but it seems like you pry them off. Any help is appreciated

Been years since I’ve done one, but as I remember the inner part of the cap prys out, then you can get at the screw that holds it to the door.

You can see the tabs in these pics
They can be a pain to pull without breaking
Good luck

I think (its been a few years) i took a bondo mixing paddle and slipped it behind the tabs being careful to not damage the door panel.

True, but they will be gone in the near future because they don’t belong on my 70
