Default Need Help Armstrong A/C capacitor...

I have this unit at home and the fan won't run ...if I spin it with a stick it will stay running then eventually stop
Think I need a capacitor ....
are they all the same Armstrong, carrier...etc...

I need to get one locally and there's is a ac dealer close but they don't deal with Armstrong...any help is appreciated as always...Chris

The brand shouldn't matter as long as the farads are the same...

So is the Farad rating on the capacitor
I see a sticker on the capacitor

+6-6%. 50/60Hz
100335-03(part number I assume)

Those things are common occurrence in So. Florida. I change them all the time. And what you described is exactly what it does when the start capacitor fails. Buy two they're cheap.
