Well, I got the Formula back from the paint shop, and I have to say it looks INCREDIBLE. That might even be an understatement.
Since I now feel the need to keep the car forever and ever and ever, I decided to put that 72 GTO I found-in-a-barn up for sale. If you folks may remember, it's all numbers matching (block/carb/trans/rims/dist/intake/rear end, etc), not rusted, has a 4-speed, but is not running. I even have the PHS verifying it IS a GTO (not a poser). I know this is very important to some people.. but not me. I'd be pretty comfortable throwing my spare 462 in the car, a nice set of rims and driving it as is. Rather than do that, I'd rather give one of my numbers-loving friends the chance to do the car right. The dash was in not-so-good shape, but I did pick up a dash from a 70 that'll go with the car (I know - it's different, but close enough for some!). I cleaned up the interior, and it looks really good (Simple Green is a miracle worker!). I very loosely assembled the engine, and it looks to be complete (pulleys, brackets, etc). The exterior of the car will be loosely assembled too, just so it'll be obvious as to what the car is missing. Unfortunately, it seems like Epay would be the best way to get the most potential buyers interested. The big question is: What should I set the reserve at? I don't want to give it away.. but I don't want to price it out of it's reasonable range either. The way I figure it - if it doesn't sell, I can do the car the way I want to without having to feel guilty about it. Does that make sense? Thanks for any advice

Rims - all 4 are KS coded Carb - 7042263 WF 2211 Dist - 112121 JK7 7K3 heads WK Block (VIN stamp is still visible, and DOES match the car, although the engine is completely apart) The car is still wearing decent looking bias ply meats - F70-14 fronts L60-14 rears Has a 140MPH speedo Has Gas/Oil/Temp guages Has 5k tach in dash unknown Headers

I'll get some formula pics up this weekend. The more it gets re-assembled, the better I like it... but the shiny paint makes me nervous.
