Default High beam headlights don’t fit the sockets

I’m switching out all of my headlights. The low beams plugged right in, but the high beam headlamp (Sylvania H5001) doesn’t have the blades long enough to grab into the socket. Is there another brand that will work? I was thinking of shaving the shroud around the socket to allow it to slide on further.

If I remember correctly the Wagner 5001 works without having to trim the shroud. I don't think many parts stores carry them anymore though. You might have to get them online.
