Default Summit Gasket Sets

The Summit web site has a lot of gasket sets ranging from from roughly $50 to $150. Do you get what you pay for? I need oil pan, timing cover, valve cover, valley, and intake gaskets. It seems an engine rebuild kit is the way to go. Any suggestions on paticular brand or kit?

I've always preferred Fel-Pro gaskets. I don't know who makes the Summit gaskets. And yes you generally get what you pay for.

Summitt has the Felpro as cheap as $69 or as high as $136. They have same with other brands such as Mr. Gasket and Edlebrock. Since I won't use the head gaskets how does that play into getting the cheap vs the pricy ones?
