Carter AFB and aftermarket air cleaners
How do you fit an aftermarket air cleaner with a 5 1/8" opening to the stock 4bbl carb on a '65 389? Is there a kit out there with the right size and a riser?

find the right size air cleaner base.Pre 68 big cars and pre 67 mid size cars used the small top AFB carbs.They are out there.You can also get a adapter.Tom

I've got an original AFB base with 4 1/8" opening. It won't fit my Carter AFB Competion Series carb made by Weber. It's for sale. PM me.
