Default parts place lower valence

Bought a new lower plastic 70-72 valence. Figured I would post a pic or two of this what needed done to get it straighter.
The whole forward face of the valence was wavy. Took two solid strips of what you see sabded down to get this flat.
In addition, had to really lean on the outer edges of the valence to get them looking better. Not a lit of work but more could have been done to really make this thing perfect. I was not after show, just driver. It still has a lot of sanding as is.
The adhesive used is the same 5887 flexible parts repair used on endura, FYI.

It seems to fit about as good as my metal one. Looking at many photos of other cars, it doesn't seem that they lined up perfect. I have to mention though that my car and fenders are 80, so IMO the fitment on my car should be taken with a grain of salt.
I'll post pics once on car after paint.

Here are a couple of pics.
The bumper is not perfectly aligned yet.
Edges seem to mate up nicely on valence.
Gaps should be pretty good.
Holes are all in the right spots.
Once its back from paint, I will have it all lined up like it should be.

Exactly, I miss my old formula. I have a newer car that surpasses it in power and handleing but I still miss it.

Yeah, it will need some minor tweaks in terms of left:right adjustment and my fenders will need some adjustment on the bottoms too. Other than that, should be good.

Heck, Im more excited about that bumper edge on the driver side! Had to build up about 1/4 in of the 3M adhesive to get that bad boy looking like that. The edge was curled in on that side pretty good.
