Default Ball joint fit

I just finished upgrading the front suspension in my 67 GTO. New control, arms, Alden Cole over shocks and just brake conversion kit.
I don’t like the way the top ball joint fits, it tightens and has the cotter pan in properly, so I thought I’d post a picture of it so you guys can tell me what you think.

That looks like a tall ball joint, does it mention it in the instructions of the kit you got?

Got part numbers/links?
