Scott,
In my opinion, both of those examples have taken the design of the Pontiac engine (cylinder head and engine block, specifically) to a new level. Has it been problem free? Definitely not....there are still issues to work out for sure. It takes tons of time and many, many laps to figure out a brand new design. I applaud them for thinking outside the box, and wish them success in their efforts.

Again, my point isn't about what a person or group has done in terms of performance, but what they are doing to push the evolution of the Pontiac engine forward that matters most to me.
