Just curious, why do you think there needs to be replacement D-port iron heads? IMO, the 70 #64 heads would be the best option for a 400 and 71 #96, the best for 455 using the factory style flat-top piston, and those heads are getting fairly expensive and hard to come by. But a lot of people seem to be rebuilding with the aftermarket dished pistons which allow use of all the high compression D-port heads for rebuilds. Anyway, just curious, I know you know your stuff through and through. My #1 would be tri-Y headers like HO used to make.
