I have a Smith & Wesson Performance Center model 629 and the barrel is 2.625 inches.
It looks beautiful it’s just not very fun to shoot.
Everything works really smooth on it though.

I know what you mean about the short barrel not being so fun to shoot, at least not if you’re going through a whole box of ammo. The .44 can get obnoxious.
My next CC purchase, still looking at shows for a good condition used. I had one in my hand at a local show a few months back, but the seller was asking almost MSRP of a NEW one!
