That's odd. I've had no problems with my AGM batteries and I lean on them pretty hard as I have a large stereo system in my Tahoe (Daily driver). I also run a Mechman 340 Amp alternator and 2 runs of 0 gauge. I just added a limitless lithium battery last weekend along with wiring to power the winch on the trailer.
