Fired it up this afternoon! It was probably the most smooth new engine fire up I've had, knock on wood. Basically turned the key and off it went.

Broke it in according to Butler's instructions. Oil pressure looks good, temps stayed low, vacuum is steady. Minimal leaks to contend with.- just a small fuel leak at the carb and a power steering overflow. Hopefully it stays this trouble free! A little bit of sewing machine noise from the lifters at idle, but not too bad. Idle is pretty mellow and smooth thanks to the 114.

The gen light stays lit all the time, even when the car is off. That's new. Could be the new engine harness or the new Powermaster mini starter. If that's my biggest issue, I'm ok with that!

Throttle blip in driveway left a couple of patches. If that's any indication, this is going to be a fun engine.
