I am looking to buy new 15" BOP 8 lugs, and some bigger tires, for my 65 Catalina. I am currently experimenting ... I put a 235-70-15 on a stock steel Pontiac wheel. There is about an inch of clearance between the tire and the 1/4, and a bit over 2" between the tire and the frame. These tires are 9.3 wide, and roughly 28 tall.
