You need to remove the dash top.

Take off the polished aluminium trim on either side of the windscreen (inside the car), there are screws holding the dash top along the front but ALSO, you might find there is a screw you have to access from the scuttle. In the middle of the car.

Not a difficult job. But if you are replacing the original speaker, make sure you get one with the correct ohms. My (bad) memory tells me its an 8 ohm speaker.
