I still have about 16 of the original PF24s, not sure what I'll do when those are gone, but see some are still available.

Obvious question is, are they as good as they used to be? I think someone a few years ago made comments on country of origin is a good indicator?

I ran the K&N ones for a while, they filter good, almost too good, oil psi would start dropping around 1500 miles requiring a change. At what they cost, it's questionable, and I won't run them anymore.

My experience with Purolator is they were about the same as Fram. Granted, it's been a long time since I've used them, but still no reason to go back in my book.

I've run Wix before, was ok with them, was during a time of lack of PF24s. But that too was a while ago. No problems that I can recall.

Like it or not, production of items can move offshore, depending on current 'administration' 'occupying', probably going to have to deal with that at some point.

IMO, just watch the oil psi closely, regardless of what you're used to using, and adjust accordingly.
