Is there a rule of thumb for O2 sensor placement distance from the turbo outlet? I looked at innovate motor sports manuals for their wideband sensors and they claim the temp at the bung should not exceed 500c or 900f.
12" minimum from turbo outlet should work fine. Also, having it before any couplings in the exhaust system will insure no outside air will pollute the readings in case of a leak at that coupling. Lastly, they should be installed at roughly 10 or 2 o'clock position.
