I think the timing covers are the same from 69-79. Who would’ve thought that you using a different balancer and pulleys than me would be such a difference. I use a Moroso 3 bolt mandrel to drive my power steering and alternator. My set up is pretty common for a race car setup, hence why I didn’t have the pulley issue.

It’s great that you are making something that fits a wider range of applications!
