I didn't cut the tunnel, I just had to liberate space with a hammer around the trans cooler fittings and the RH side of the bellhousing. It is roughly the same size as a TH400 overall, but it is just taller for longer.
6L90 is bigger again so I'm not surprised it needed more floor mods. If I had my time again I'd lift the whole trans, tailshaft tunnel and diff hump to get the trans up higher. As it is the deep pan on my trans sits flat on the ground when aired out.
