C'mon Pecosbill!!! You know that $47 invested in 1964 with any decent return would yield alot more than an investment in a wood wheel :-)
I think a private "see it, touch it, feel it" sale will do better than Ebay. You have to find the right person with the right pocket size. Not sure if we have passed the top of the market for items like this one or not. My gut says yes, but I dont know too much
