Wouldn't surprise me one bit. In my case it was a '72 350 with crappy 7h1 heads, so not worth the trouble or money to repair. I just got a 400 core and started a build with new rotating assy and sd 6x4 ported heads and drove it as is. Once we do the autopsy I'll post a thread on it.
