So still waiting on the relay tomorrow so I can get the voltage the way msd wants it. I haven't driven it since,, I'm not going to try it til the relay is in.So I've got the 18 degree bushing in it and the 2 blue springs. Idles at 750....timing mark doesn't start to move til 1300 rpms and totals out at 2500. I'm surprised the timing doesn't start advancing til 1300 or is that normal? I'm probably going to experiment with a heavy spring and a light silver for an expected 2800 total.

Rereading the paperwork that came with the dui...I've never had the correct voltage to the dist. I always thought I had full voltage til I checked it the other day to find out I only had 12.6 volts engine running to the coil/ dist instead of the 14+ volts they say they want. Maybe that's why it was acting funny and burnt the insulation on the yellow wire? ( that's a different thread I've got)

Pic of yellow wires on dui small body I removed.
