For '68-72 Pontiac A-bodys AND '68-69 Firebirds, original 1" bore Morraine master cylinders were used on drum brake equipped cars, whether Manual drum or Power drum. Two manual drum '71 233 HO cars here. Have owned many dozen power drum 68-72 A-bodies.
Original power brake boosters used on factory disc cars are different than same year bodystyle power drum boosters. Original application & date code is noted on the small tab where the front half of the booster twists & interlocks into the rear half.
