Just another FYI about that White Lightening shifter. A feature it has that I haven't seen on other 5 speed shifters......yet Is a reverse lockout when in 5th gear.
So when downshifting to 4th, the spring loaded gate, and a lockout from reverse, automatically pulls the shifter down to 4th gear without the chance of catching the reverse gate. You can just pull straight back without even thinking about it, and it just drops into 4th gear.
That's been something I've really liked about it.
