That was a well done commercial. And surprising and refreshing with the vintage Chevy.
Brings me to throw in a thought. Remember at Christmas those with loss. They don't all get a restored car to cheer them up. Many here of late have lost spouses, I feel for them at this time of year. I could use a holiday cheer up myself, it usually amounts to my annual bottle of Irish Cream.
That commercial was great, and also reminded me my two sons are in heaven and never got to help me on my dream 70-73 bird plan. Never got to ride in one, except ones in progress before the accidents took them. (Thank God not Pontiac accidents or I wouldn't have one still likely.) Holidays are the never grandkids I dreamed of. Holidays for people with loss are a time of dread in a way, and a time to wish be over.
So think of those folk, don't restore a car for them (or do!) but say hey and just go prop them up a little. It is a sad little club at a cheery time and a challenge.
