Got the Q-jet rebuilt and set on top of the motor today. I found a bracket identicle to the one pictured below.

Ben stated the bracket will make it easy. But the brakcet hits the #5 runner. I dont mind cutting and welding the bracket, but before I do, I just want to make sure I am not missing something. Like, if I could just bolt it on if I want to use an inch of spacers between the carb and the bracket. Has anyone else had this issue?
