I had a 70 307 Chevelle with a 200R4 and 3.23 gears. I loved it. On the highway it was at 2100 RPM @ 70 MPH. Around town was great too. I had a Q-jet on it but never got around to tweeking it just right and was only getting 15-16 MPG.
