I wash my cars very little unless I have to. But, I don't drive in the rain. There are times I pick up the road splash from a wet spot though. When I do wash, I've used Armor All car wash concentrate soap and a bucket with mitt. I like a gentle spray, enough to do the job. I don't like the thought of a pressure wash at all. The after wash/dry will eventually allow car to thoroughly dry. If garaged anyway. Not like when these cars were built and sat outside getting moisture all the time. I think of road mud, leaves, etc. building up and holding the moisture allowing rust to live and eat.
