Ed, I have never seen door stamps that precise before! My 68 is also a Fremont build, 03A, so first week of March. I'll attach pictures of my fender codes.

One is 2A16 and the other 2C19M. I had always assumed the 2 in front of the other codes was to indicate Pontiac, like 1 is Chevy, etc. So maybe it is the month like you surmise. So Feb 16th and Feb 19th for my fenders. My guess on the A/B/C is the shift at the plant??? No idea on M. Side note, my cowl is also stamped with 133 (I believe, hard to read), so it was a Chevy part as well!

I'll try to get my door codes soon, they're not accessible right now. I know they are not that crisp like yours though.
