Cordova Tops and Painted Tops.
They were a popular option back in the day, but made for a huge problem with water damage and rust issues.
The aluminum base trim (molding/belt) was attached to the body with a variety of fasteners that required holes.
These holes allowed water to pass into the trunk area via rain or washing.
Below is a 65 GTO with the trim removed showing these holes.
