My '68 GTO came factory with a 2bbl 400 and M13. It was a Dearborn trans and it was heavy. Hurst shifter.
One of my '68 Camaro SS came factory with an M-13 And it was a 3 speed HD Muncie, with a Muncie shifter.
This car was 100% original when I got and sold it. The Trans was a whole YEAR older than the car. ( shelf life at the factory no doubt)
Had the protecto plate, No doubt its originality
