If you can turn a wrench, I say get his book, talk to him and get a kit, its rewarding to rebuild one yourself, you save money and the more you do it the easier t gets.

Starting with Cliff’s book and then endless other places, with a little reading, a few basic tools and decent core (I’ve used late 70’s Olds cores) you might surprise yourself. I did. Building a working Qjet was satisfying and given all the info out there, within reach of most anybody.
