1970 Van Nuys Jacks(the square shafts) were a different shade of blue than the 1970 Norwood(trapizoid shaft) jacks were. The 1971 Jacks(the "y " shaft) were yet another shade of blue. 71 shaft was painted silver while 70 Van Nuys was silver cad and Norwood was gold cad. The lug wrenches that I have and have removed from cars have a "w" or an "m" depending on how you look at it?) on the part of teh wrench where the nut would be gripped. I have seen the lug wrenches grey painted,like a Ford Grey, or(and more commonly) the same blue as the rest of the jack is for that particular year/assembly Plant..
