Prior to the rebuild would be a good time to remove the springs and test them with a bench tester at their verified installed height and with the retainers used to see how much pressure they have lost while in use.

We check new valve springs at their intended installed height with a Rimac machine before they are installed. NEVER trust the catalog specs !
