Yeah, that's definitely the quickest '74 Ventura Stocker, ever. I assume it's the ONLY one to ever run in the 10's. Guessing it's the best ET ever, for the car. That's nearly as quick as Bill Rink's Super Stock '74 GTO. But hey, Bill may be holding back a little, to avoid a hp factor increase. Never did find out for sure why Brad quit running the shaker hood last year. Just assume it was for convenience. Don't know if there is a performance or weight advantage. Anybody know ?
AND, this may be the biggest Stock/SS purse ever.

Just a quick glance at the Q-sheet showed Monte Howard driving a '78 T/A Super Stocker. I assume it's the same car he drove several years back, when Ken Shawver still owned it. I assume it is now owned by Jack Good. As I've probably said, that may be the winningest Pontiac powered Super Stocker. It has been quick for a long time. IIRC, it won class @ Indy several times, & qualified high on the list many times. Pretty sure I posted the info, & some of the pics that Monte gave me on the car, on the Super Stock thread.
