Yup, that works, just have to take into account the amount of added fluid for filter(s) and lines. It might be slightly complicated to calculate if you don't have anti-drainback with the filter setup.

Accusump doesn't matter, as long as it's filled prior to calculating oil volume/level. (Dipstick calibration)
