I`m going T2 with open spacer. I have never used the RPM, so can`t speak on that one.
BUT, I have only run 2 different cams with the T2 and they were/are in the mid 240`s on intake duration.
So, I`m not worried about the gears so much as the small`ish cam. I still say, go for it.
