The chart shows 7025178 for both M/T and A/T for 1966 389.
This is obviously not correct since 1966 389 w/A/T uses 7024178.
The 7025178 appeared first on 1965 389 M/T and was carried over to 1966 389 M/T.

This info is from Delco Rochester Bulletin 9C-640 Date December, 1965, Delco Rochester Bulletin 9C-627 Date May, 1967 and the 1966 Tempest Chassis Shop Manual.
Also, the tag on my original 1966 GTO Tripower A/T front carb shows 7024178.

The chart is wrong on the 1966 421 front carb as well, should be 7024078 for A/T.
