In talking to their tech people the flow rate is so much with their filter that they by pass in the filter or adapter have very little chance of ever opening.
I will probably get it without by pass and leave the stock one in just because thats what I have always done and had great luck with it. Its hard to change sometimes.
But I do not think it matters either way with their filter.
The extra screen is a nice tip, will do that.
