The One emblem I saw in a factory "video" was up further like a '69 would be mounted and Not facing towards the rear.
The 70 emblem ( no spoiled car) "would be" 9808505 12.182 23 PLATE PKG., compt. lid (400)
As John Said, this was NOT on any Verified production models.
That said: The "Firebird 400" designation carried on way past this emblem and on into the late 70's for customers.
The Formula model "sorta" replaced it, but we all know 400's came in models other than a Formula..
