I thought you could buy the correct paint in a rattle can already ready to go I think I did that with mine about 25 years ago and never started my car now I have to take it all apart again. Classic Industries or Ames probably has the correct paint. I'm learning that this obsession with getting everything correct is sort of ridiculous unless you're in the business of buying and selling cars that's my two cents.
