Just for reference...


Impala rear suspension...
Springs mounted to lower links
Upper links mounted to axle tube
Has a panhard rod
Bushings are all pressed into the links, mating clevises on the axle


Bonneville rear suspension...
Springs mounted to perches on the axle
Upper links mounted to center section, uses cast-in bosses.
No panhard rod
Bushings pressed into the axle, mating clevises on the links.
