The 2022 Pure Stock Drags are 'in the books' with another successful event with 131 cars total, 7 cars withdrawing due to mechanical issues, so 62 race pairings. Only 1 car went too quick with an 11.46 sec et after back-pedaling at the 1000' mark...on the very first pass down the track on Friday morning. We had a good showing of Pontiacs from Brad Risings '64 Tri-Power GTO to John Eberly's '79 Formula WS6, Brad Pringle's '74 SD-455 TA, Paul Aragona's '74 SD-455 Formula, Adrian Beltrame's '69 RAIV Firebird 400, a new '71 .5 GT-37 with a 455HO replacing the original (long gone) 400 4-bbl owned by Kevin Ross, and many other good running Pontiacs.
