When I pulled off my manifold to remove the broken studs, I found that the exhaust control valve stuck in the closed position.
I removed the butterfly because it was frozen solid.
What effects could this have on the engine or did I help it by removing it?
The car always starts and runs in cold weather so I never thought twice about removing it. Any thoughts?
